Awesome Wednesday

The two Internet tycoons Facebook and Skype announced a partnership today. What does this mean for the average Facebooker? It means you will now be able to live video chat with your friends on Facebook. 

Many have speculated this is Facebook's official response to Google+, the internet giants latest attempt to break into the social media market. Facebook's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, was quoted as saying Facebook and Skype have been in discussions about the new partnership for quite some time. 

I see this being a really nice feature when it comes to video chatting with your parents or friends. On the other hand I can't wait for this to turn into a chat roulette style stalking mechanism. Only time will tell how teenagers 14-17 will utilize these new features. Lol. Oh the interesting paradigms the internet brings us.

Out of boredom today I started a Blog with Google's Blogger. I would like to say that the theme of this blog will be the Internet, Technology, and Science. These are the three things I read about the most on a regular basis. I will use this log to aggregate the cool articles/information I come across on the internet.
